I managed to book the church today, for July 29. Luckily they had a cancellation, although I feel bad saying that because obviously that means a couple has broken up. I guess it's better to find out now rather than on the day.

Anyway, that was the main thing that I was concerned about, because we wanted that particular date to work in with Steven's football camp, but if I hadn't been able to book the church, then we would have found another place to have it. I just had my heart set on a church wedding with my Dad walking me down the aisle.

The rest of it should all fall into place now as there really isn't all that much to organise. The fun part is going to be finding the dress, but there's no rush.

Than's fabulous. Now the rest will just fall into place. And I don' envy you in the dress search.

I have pretty firm ideas of what I want...which might actually make it harder to find.

I want it to be a surprise for John, so I've locked it so he can't see it ;)

This isn't the one, but something along these lines...

I'll know it when I see it.

Oh, that's very beautiful. I like the material. It seems very your style. I love the sweetheart neckline.

I'm not really one for the big poufy skirt and I'd like it to be a bit sexy, while still being classy ;)

No, that doesn't seem your style. I think something like that, the mermaid style would be perfect on you.

And I figured the poofy dress would take away from the poofy belly. At least it seemed to work!

I do like that one I linked. It's growing on me. It's going on the short list.

Everyone is different :) Your dress really was gorgeous and suited you perfectly.

I really do too. And you have alot of time to pick out. But God, the way this year has been going, it'll come by sooner than you think.

That's true. The school year has been flying by and soon Steven will be on holidays and then starting year 4. He's growing up so fast.

And your Dad is thrilled that you want him to walk you down the aisle.

I'm glad to hear you got the date secured though.

That's one of the best parts about all of this.

Thanks, me too. Hope you're still having a great time in Italy.

It's something I never thought I'd ever get to do.

We're having an amazing time! There's going to be loads of pictures when we get home if you want to see them.
